Shahnoz was born in 1994 in Dushanbe, Tajikistan, during the collapse of the Soviet Union and the civil war. She studied linguistics and journalism and worked in development aid and journalism in her home country, where she actively advocated for women's rights. After spending a year studying art in the USA, she decided to pursue fashion design in Germany, a journey that shaped her intercultural experiences and her vision as a designer. Her work is strongly influenced by her background, and she continues to use fashion as a platform to preserve cultural identity and foster intercultural dialogue, blending traditional elements with modern design approaches.
